My name is Daniel Goldman, and helping people improve their lives is my life's work.
I aim to understand, to listen openly, and to provide treatment based on empathy. It is important for me to provide care that is both effective and efficient. I believe that honest thoughtful feedback can be a true gift. I encourage people to ask questions along the way, and to take an active role in their own recovery. We will start where you are at and take it one step at a time...
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I have been privileged to work with a broad range of human development and experience, ranging from childhood to end of life. My current practice is with adults of all ages, from emerging adulthood to late life. I am formally trained in several evidenced based psychotherapies, have a wealth of clinical experience to draw from, and a big toolbox of insight and skills to share. But, first it is my job to understand you, and make sure that each person receives treatment that is uniquely tailored to their needs. At this stage of my career I am glad to feel confidence in my knowledge and abilities, but also not afraid to admit imperfection, and yet remain continually inspired by the process. I have never been as grateful to be a therapist as I am today, and I thank the thousands of clients I have worked with to present for this gift.
Providing a close level of care, and making sure clients feel prioritized, is my standard of care. Your experience is important to me, during sessions and in your everyday life. As such, I encourage active clients to be in contact between appointments as needed.
